Social Emotional Learning ASOST Training

We believe that when adults have stronger SEL skills, young people will too. Building strong, supportive relationships with young people is key to building their essential life skills. We’ll review frameworks for understanding SEL, and share practical suggestions for implementing SEL practices with young people in a way that affirms their strengths and identities, and helps us avoid common “equity detours” that may cause more harm than good. By focusing on our own SEL skills, we can model and support SEL growth in young people, helping them become thriving and engaged adults. Join us to learn more!
