Lunch & Learn with MMP – Best Practices for Recruiting BIPOC Men

Join us and our guest presenter, Dwayne Bennett for February’s Lunch and Learn where we will focus our time on best practices for recruiting BIPOC men. Our learning objectives for this session are: Provide Programs with guidance on recruiting men of color as mentors, so that programs can use this in their work with mentoring programs. Awareness of the specific Elements of Effective Practices that guide in recruiting men of color as mentors. Understanding of the step by step processes for recruitment in an easy to use framework that can be put to direct use with mentoring programs.

 

More about Dwayne Bennett: Dwayne Bennett is a frequently requested speaker, as well as author and President of Yes to Success, LLC a corporate training and leadership development company. As a founding member of the John Maxwell Team, Dwayne has been trained personally by John Maxwell and is a certified, licensed motivational speaker, engaging trainer and transformational Coach. As it pertains to Best Practices of Mentoring, Dwayne has personally trained over 5000 mentors through 200 programs, is a mentor himself and a Technical Assistant Consultant for the NMRC.

Dwayne uses the latest cutting edge communication and leadership principles, along with the concepts from his 2 books entitled, “From Worry to Winning: The 7 Winning Ways to Your Personal Success and The 7 Winning Ways to College Success: From High School to College Graduate”, to help organizations develop its leaders and leaders to develop themselves. Dwayne has traveled throughout the United States and abroad to places such as Cuba, India, and others delivering high energy, interactive inspirational messages and trainings to audiences, to help them elevate from where they are to where they know they should be!

 

Lunch & Learn Sessions – meet the third Tuesday of each month. The event may take the form of networking, a time to get deeper in conversation with others who value and support mentoring relationships or they may offer short spurts of information on updated research, happenings and/or tools. We welcome you as often as you can join us.
