Introduction to Our Bodies of Work
At Mass Mentoring Partnership (MMP), we believe that positive relationships are foundational to the growth, development, and success of young people. As the leading mentoring resource in Massachusetts, MMP strengthens and expands the reach and impact of mentoring by equipping organizations, schools, and communities with the tools and support they need to foster meaningful connections.
In alignment with our core commitments to Service and Quality, MMP has strategically organized our efforts into six Bodies of Work: Belonging & Empowerment, Higher Education, K-12 Education, Youth-Serving Organizations, Structured Mentoring, and Workforce Development. These areas reflect where we can most effectively support our partners and communities through our training capacity and institutional change pillars.
Each Body of Work represents a key sector where mentoring relationships can be a transformative force. Whether we’re working to embed mentoring into schools and colleges, strengthen career pathways for youth, or promote inclusive environments where all young people feel seen and supported, MMP is committed to helping organizations build sustainable, high-quality mentoring experiences.
By focusing our efforts in these areas, we’re not only amplifying the power of mentoring—we’re helping to build a stronger, more equitable future for over 43,000 young people across Massachusetts.
