External virtual workshop: Media and Messaging for Student Support Providers

This interactive, virtual workshop is designed for members of the Partnership for Student Success coalition and their partners. During the workshop, participants will learn practical strategies for telling stories of their impact through earned media. Whether you provide tutoring, mentoring, student success coaching, postsecondary transition coaching, or wraparound supports, this session will help you share the impact of your work.
We will cover:
Strategies for crafting a compelling story
How to pitch your story to reporters
Preparing for interviews
Sharing tested messages that resonate with diverse audiences
Participants will also have the opportunity to practice telling their story and pitching to peers in small groups.
