Innovative Professional Development for Mentor Supervisors Workshop

May 29 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

This webinar reimagines how supervisors support mentors in complex, real‑world situations, with a particular focus on the unique dynamics of rural communities. Participants will explore common mentoring challenges, including high‑stakes conversations related to mental health, engagement and performance concerns, and relationship issues. This practical, reflective session clarifies the supervisory role and delivers fresh strategies, empowering supervisors to support mentors thoughtfully, adaptively, and with greater impact.

MENTOR Minnesota, Dr. Lindsey Weiler, and Dr. Mimi Choy-Brown are hosting a training at the end of the month which, while for anyone, is specifically geared toward rural mentoring program supervisors! Dr Lindsey Weiler is researching best practices for mentor supervision in rural settings, so this may be the first of many of its kind!
