ASOST Cultural Responsiveness in Mentoring Relationships

The ability to connect across cultures is key to supporting our work with youth and caregivers. This interactive training will help participants understand dimensions of identity and culture and the ways that prejudices and bias hamper opportunities for connection. This introductory training helps program staff explore personal dynamics of power and privilege and begin to develop strategies to increase both personal and organizational capacity to practice cultural responsiveness.

This training is provided at no cost for ASOST grantees thanks to generous funding from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
