ASOST Youth Mental Health

March 1, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free

Adolescence is a critical period for developing and maintaining habits important for mental health and well-being. Some adolescents, however, face increased risks of mental health conditions due to factors like living conditions, stigma, discrimination, or lack of access to quality support and services. This highlights the significance of supportive relationships. A supportive adult presence that fosters a shared connection and vulnerability can promote positive growth and adaptation. Join this virtual training to learn how to promote resiliency among young people. It is designed for both staff and mentors.

This training is provided at no cost for ASOST grantees thanks to generous funding from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
