ASOST Healing Informed Practices
Many young people in our communities have suffered trauma, which can have serious and lasting effects, hindering their ability to build relationships with supportive adults.
Join us for an in-person training in Central Mass to gain a deeper understanding of this issue. The training covers key terms and language related to trauma and shares trauma-informed care practices and techniques for promoting resiliency and self-care. By gaining a better appreciation of trauma and its impact on youth, staff can create programs that tap into the resilience of young people and foster healing environments. This is a valuable opportunity to deepen your knowledge and enhance your skills to make a lasting impact on the lives of the youth you serve.
This training is provided at no cost for ASOST grantees thanks to generous funding from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
