Advocating for Mentoring Relationships Across the Commonwealth

The purpose of this training is to encourage civic participation by programs and their participants, addressing effective communication strategies and common questions about advocacy, while boosting knowledge of how state government functions. MMP’s Advocacy Training supports individuals to develop their skills to become more civically engaged citizens and effective advocates for the issues they care about. While this training is tailored to programs that support mentoring relationships, the skills and issues covered in this training can support many types of programs to educate, advocate, and effectively influence policymaking.
