Boston, MA — [March 2026] — Mass Mentoring Partnership (MMP) is pleased to announce the return of a valued former board member and the appointment of two new leaders to its Board of Directors, strengthening the organization’s governance and deepening its commitment to mentoring, leadership development, and community impact.

Jacqueline Conrad, Founder of DelaCruz Communications, returns to the Board of Directors after a brief hiatus, and will serve on the Executive Committee. A seasoned communications, marketing, and public relations strategist, Conrad brings more than three decades of experience helping organizations amplify their voice, engage key audiences, and elevate their brand presence across sectors. A passionate communicator and trusted advisor, she previously served on the MMP Board from 2013-2023, as Chair from 2020 – 2022, and is rejoining at a pivotal moment of growth and momentum for the organization.

“Jacqueline’s return to our Board is incredibly meaningful,” shared Cynthia K. Orellana, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of MMP. “Her strategic insight, deep communications expertise, and longstanding commitment to our mission will be invaluable as we continue to expand our reach and elevate the conversation around mentoring as a critical strategy for leadership and workforce development.”

MMP also proudly welcomes the following new members to its Board of Directors:

Melina Cortes‑Nmili, Founder and Creative Director of Lalla Bee, is a seasoned corporate executive and team leader with over a decade of experience driving strategic growth and innovation across the healthcare industry. With expertise spanning Patient Services, Commercial Growth Strategy, and Product Innovation, Cortes‑Nmili has led high‑performing teams and executed transformative initiatives in complex, fast‑paced environments. Her ability to navigate multi‑dimensional challenges and influence cross‑functional stakeholders brings valuable perspective to the Board.

Caitlin Thompson, Managing Director at KPMG LLP, is a recognized leader in the insurance sector with a strong background in strategic leadership and financial acumen. Drawing from her personal experiences, Thompson understands the importance of consistent advocates and is deeply committed to the power of mentorship. She brings a strong passion for community service and a results‑driven approach to advancing mission‑focused work.

“Our Board plays a critical role in shaping our vision and ensuring we remain responsive to the communities we serve,” said Nicole Eurieck, Board Chair of MMP. “We are thrilled to welcome Melina and Caitlin, whose diverse experiences and leadership will strengthen our work, and to celebrate Jacqui’s return as a trusted partner and champion of our mission.”

It is a beautiful coincidence that these appointments coincide with Women’s History Month, a time dedicated to honoring the impact of female leaders past and present. MMP celebrates this ‘powerhouse’ moment for the organization and their board: with a newly appointed woman asChair at the helm and the addition of three formidable women joining President and CEO Dr. Orellana – MMP’s leadership reflects a vibrant, women-inspired energy. The return of a former Board Chair adds a special layer of legacy leadership to this group, bridging the organization’s rich history with the fresh perspectives of their newest members. While these appointments were driven by talent and heart, this new chapter is marked with excitement during a month that celebrates exactly this kind of trail-blazing spirit.

With these appointments, MMP continues to build a dynamic Board that reflects the breadth of expertise and passion needed to advance mentoring across Massachusetts. Now comprised of over 50% women and 50% people of color, our leadership more closely mirrors the communities we serve, strengthening our ability to use mentoring as a tool for increasing access, opportunity, and thriving for young people.
