December Lunch & Learn 2025: Silver Lining: Exploring the Role of Money in Mentoring Relationships
Exploring the Role of Money in Mentoring Relationships
Join a panel of Silver Lining Mentoring (SLM) staff members to explore the ways that expenditures of money by mentors or the mentoring program can positively or negatively impact mentoring relationships. The SLM team will share insights on topics where the organization has direct experience, including: setting policies and maintaining boundaries around mentor expenditures, leveraging free tickets or gift cards to enhance the mentoring relationship, and best practices for mentoring programs that wish to offer stipends/grant funds to mentees during times of financial hardship.
