DESCRIPTION:After-school and out-of-school time programs play a significant role in mentoring relationships\, which can perpetuate racial inequity. It is essential for mentors and these programs to prioritize the well-being of the youth and families they serve. This workshop is designed specifically for after-school and out-of-school time programs to raise awareness of the harmful impact of white saviorism on youth and how it can manifest in mentoring relationships.
