DESCRIPTION:Learn the ABC’s of Mentoring at Mass Mentoring Partnership’s Virtual Mentoring Institute!\n2-Day VIRTUAL Workshop  \nWednesday\, September 7\, 10AM – 3PM AND Thursday\, September 8\, 10AM – 3PM  \nThis foundational two-day training will be offered this fall and is designed to provide all the necessary tools and information you need to create and sustain empowering youth-adult mentoring relationships. \nThis training was created with your busy schedule and unique program needs in mind. The Mentoring Institute builds upon MMP’s existing training curriculum\, offering new staff at mentoring programs the opportunity to receive the quality training they need to hit the ground running and work effectively with mentors and other staff. \nAt this training\, you will walk away with the ability to: \n\nDefine youth mentoring and recognize the essential components of a quality mentoring program\nApply the Elements of Effective Practice in your program practices \n\nThis training is best for: \n\nNew mentoring program staff and AmeriCorps members\nSeasoned staff that need a “refresher” in quality program practices\n\nParticipants will receive MMP’s Mentoring Institute Workbook filled with activities and tools to support empowering relationships at their program sites.
