SUMMARY:ASOST - Closure
DESCRIPTION:In the Closure Training\, participants will be equipped with knowledge and skills to support young people in after-school programs to say goodbye effectively. The training focuses on the difficulties of ending relationships and the impact it can have on young people\, particularly during the summer months. Through exploring the research behind the importance of closure\, participants will gain insight into effective strategies to help young people manage this process. Participants will also examine their own organization’s closure strategy and how it aligns with best practices. By the end of the training\, participants will have a better understanding of the benefits of closure and be able to apply this knowledge to support the emotional well-being of the young people they serve. \n  \nThis training is provided at no cost for ASOST grantees thanks to generous funding from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. \n  \nREGISTER
