Sue Anne Endelman, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
In her two decades as a senior executive in the non-profit sector, Sue Anne Endelman has successfully led numerous initiatives to align mission, objectives, and financial resources to maximize and sustain organizational effectiveness and vibrancy.
Endelman joined the staff of Mass Mentoring Partnership in early 2006 in the then newly created position of Vice President for Training and Strategic Services. During her tenure in this position, the state’s umbrella organization for youth mentoring programs created a nationally recognized quality-based membership model, implemented first-time statewide research on the field of mentoring, and launched the AmeriCorps Ambassadors of Mentoring Program. In August 2009, Endelman became MMP’s first Chief Operating Officer, a role in which she will build the operational infrastructure of the organization to be aligned with its recent 400 percent growth in revenue.
Endelman spent 16 years as a senior executive at Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston (JCCGB), most recently as Senior Vice President for Operations and Planning. Chief among her accomplishments at JCCGB were the revitalization of the organization’s six-site early childhood education system that served over 650 families annually and the launch of regionalized models for youth and young adult engagement.
Her earliest work in the non-profit sector focused on out-of-school time and summer camp programs for children and adolescents, experiences that continue to drive her passion for organizations committed to promoting the best interests of youth.
A native of California, Sue Anne graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in psychology, and completed her M.A. in Jewish community studies/human service management at Brandeis University.
