Learn how to enhance your cultural competency skills and strengthen diversity and inclusive practices at your program with this day-long training!
This interactive workshop provides mentoring and youth development program staff the opportunity to recognize and explore dynamics of power and privilege in their communities and organizations and begin to develop strategies to increase cultural competency and inclusion in their programs. Participants will learn how to take the first steps towards a higher level of personal cultural competency and then work towards applying new perspectives to their work. Those who attend will receive MMP's Cultural Competency Workbook that includes helpful exercises for use in programs.
